Market 28 is a traditional Mexican flea market where you can find plenty of retailers and shops that offer perfect products for souvenirs.
Although its glory days are a bit 'spoiled' by tourism Market 28 still retains a lot of it traditional spirit with many shops selling hand made products, art and crafts. Be prepared to ignore many shop owners who will try to convince you to buy from their store and always remember you have the bargaining power. The market has jewelleries, handcraft stores, clothing and lots of food joints that serve traditional Mexican food.
Located in the central part of Cancun, bring your more comfortable shoes because you will have a great time getting there as you can explore the not so touristy part of this tropical paradise. Although there are ATMs at Market 28 make sure you get cash because very few shops accept credit cards and you will miss the oportunity.
