  • See the majestic Mayan temples and city walls of Tulum
  • Explore the once powerful city of Cobá
  • Enter a cave full of amazing stalactites and crystalline waters

Journey to the archaeological site of Tulum to investigate the ruins of a port city of the Mayan civilization, once ruled by the supreme Halach Uinicoob. See the remains of the palaces and temples that still show a wealth of paintings and decorations from the stunning cliff-top location. Discover the zac beoob (white paths) that reveal the infrastructure of the city from the 10th century. Contrast the beauty of this cultural icon with the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Next, take a 45-minute drive to Cobá, considered one of the most important cities at the height of Mayan civilization. Marvel at its many powerful monuments and representations of the internal and external zac beoobs that connected the buildings and cities. The longest runs for an amazing 100 kilometers to the Mayan city of Yaxuna. Climb the 42-meter tall pyramid to experience a living testament to the mysticism of the past. The 2-kilometer tour to the main pyramid can be done by tricycle (a taxi for 2 with driver included) or you can ride a bicycle along the flat paths. Enjoy lunch at Cenotes Hidden Treasure restaurant. Taste regional dishes and try some authentic handmade corn tortillas. Go to the closed cenote (sinkhole) of Hilario Cenote Cave, and enter a cave full of stalactites and crystalline waters via a spiral staircase. Experience the sensation of bathing in water at around 20 to 21 degrees Celsius. End your day trip at Playa Paraíso, where the fine white sand is a joy to touch. Experience one of the most privileged public beaches on the coast of Tulum, where the 120 kilometers of the Riviera Maya ends and the biosphere reserve of Sian Ka'an begins.
